Hello Guys & Dolls! How's everyone doing? Summer heat got ya down?
In Texas we are in the triple digit phase of summer, known as the Dog Days, and nothing beats the heat like a fabulous halter style sundress. Now, as far a sundresses go, there are TONS of places to buy great dresses but one of my favorite online shops for inexpensive dresses is Shein. She what you say?? Yes, SHEIN. Let me tell you why.
This specific halter style dress is so flattering and can be dressed up or down. The dress comes with a self tie matching belt, which is great for a casual look. Styled like this you are ready for a casual brunch, a date night movie, of even a day of shopping. It's simple, chic, and will keep you cool. And PS: this super cute bag from Amazon is PERFECT for summer gatherings like the lake, beach, or pool party.
Now, if you want to dress this gal up a bit, take off your self tie belt and add a rattan or bamboo belt like this one HERE which by the way, comes in 22 different buckle shapes and colors, so you're sure to find one that you can wear with several items in your closet.
I also added some heels to punch up the dressiness, and these are an old staple in my closet. They are my wedding shoes and I don't recall where on earth I bought them, but they are one of the favorites in my collection. I like pairing an ankle strap heel with this dress because of the length. The strap would draw attention to your ankle and give the illusion of height. This specific color seems to be sold out but this navy color is fantastic and I think I like it even better than the beige one that I have. I may just need to add that to my closet as well!

A couple of purchase hints for Shein: First, I am a size 6 in most things and on this site I order a medium and they fit great. Secondly, the shipping may take a bit longer than what you're used to so allow about 10 days for the dresses to get to you before you call in reinforcements.
Summer dresses that leave us cool, stylish, and oh-so-chic is always the right answer in my book and this halter style will take you right into fall with no problem. Simply add a ........you guessed it...BLAZER and a pair of boots and you are in fall fashion mode in no time.
